The Undermining of the Crown

Here are just some of the things Albanese has done during his three years in office:
ALBANESE & REPUBLICANISM BY STEALTH

MAY 2022 - Albanese appoints first-ever Minister for Republic. |
JUNE 2022 - Albanese cancels Coalition plans for celebrating Queen’s 70 years on the Throne. |

SEPTEMBER 2022 - Government met to plan republic whilst Queen Elizabeth was lying in State prior to her funeral. In September 2022, whilst the late Queen’s funeral was proceeding in the United Kingdom, Matt Thistlethwaite, Assistant Minister for The Republic, and other ministers were meeting in Sydney to strategize governmental moves towards establishing a republic. |
NOVEMBER 2022 - Albanese removes Royal Insignia from Sydney official residence. By November 2022, the Royal Crest above the gates of Kirribilli House, the taxpayer funded prime ministerial Sydney residence, had been removed. |
|
FEBRUARY 2023 - Albanese cancels plans for the King’s image on Australian banknotes. By February 2023, the Albanese administration confirmed that the King's likeness would not appear on Australian currency. While the government initially attributed this decision to the Reserve Bank, it was later disclosed that it was a governmental choice linked to their republican agenda. |
|
MAY 2023 - Albanese ensures no celebrations for King’s Coronation On 6 May 2023, King Charles was crowned at Westminster Abbey. There were no celebrations organised by the Australian government in Australia and very few buildings were illuminated in Sydney or elsewhere. No prints of the King were made available from Government offices as has been the tradition for decades until just prior to the King’s visit in October 2024. |
|
OCTOBER 2023 - Albanese says “No Republic Referendum” – for now. On 14 October 2023, the Australian electorate overwhelmingly rejected the government’s proposal to create an indigenous voice to the parliament. This prompted Albanese to announce that a republic referendum would not take place for the time being, although he has consistently indicated that he intends to hold one during his second term. However, uncertainty remains about whether he will follow through or even secure another term, but it is essential for the Australian Monarchist League (AML) to remain vigilant. |
|
DECEMBER 2023 - Albanese ignores AML call for Republic ministry to be abolished Following Mr Albanese's declaration that a republic referendum would not occur, the Australian Monarchist League, supported by over 13,000 signatures, reached out to him urging the dissolution of the republic ministership, arguing that if his statements were credible, the role was unnecessary. Our correspondence, along with the signatures, went unanswered. |

APRIL 2024 - Albanese arranges for republican & anti Australia Day mate to be Governor-General On 3 April 2024, the prime minister announced that his friend, Ms Sam Mostyn would be the next Governor General of Australia. A few months before this, in January 2024, Mr Albanese had sat by whilst there were widespread calls by activists for Australia Day to be renamed Invasion Day. His nominee for Governor General, Ms Samantha Mostyn, had earlier tweeted that Australia Day was "Invasion Day" adding “it was a bloody invasion.” Another whitewashed tweet had been unearthed in which Ms Mostyn had congratulated Peter Fitzsimons (then head of the Australian Republican Movement) on his efforts to remove the Crown which makes it obvious that she supports a republic. |

August 2024 - Albanese arranges for new Royal Standard but without any indication that it is the King’s Australian Standard. |
![]() |
October 2024 - Albanese arranges for a new Great Seal of Australia but without the King’s name. |
November 2024 - Albanese government passes legislation replacing mention of Elizabeth II not with Charles III but simply as ‘Sovereign’. |
All these moves are intended to remove the Crown and install a republic.
Help us to stop him from getting a second term.

LABOR PARTY POLICY“reform of the Australian Constitution and other political institutions to ensure that they reflect the will of the majority of Australian citizens and the existence of Australia as an independent republic.” |
This is an example of why we need monarchist politicians in the parliament. Here we see Senator James Patterson, a supporter of AML questioning the secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs on wny they removed portraits of the monarch to which she responded that they were replaced by pictures of the ministers.
This video shows some aspects of the monarchy few people nowadays know about.
