Damien de Pyle

Damien is a monarchist who is a veteran who served in the Army as a rifleman for about five years. He was posted to the Fifth Battalion of the Royal Australian Regiment in Darwin where he specialised in Signals, Combat First Aid, Tactical Exploitation, and Counter-interrogation. He earned the Australian Defence Medal and was awarded the Cove coin for his articles for the professional military education website, The Cove.
After he left the Army, he was awarded the Ramsay Scholarship to study Western Civilisation at the Australian Catholic University, where he has been awarded multiple faculty commendations. He is a passionate advocate for Veterans Affairs currently leading a campaign to end abuses happening on certain Army training courses. Damien has also written articles for The Spectator, Green-Left Weekly, Fulcrum US, and other publications.
