The Prince of Wales & Climate Change Action

The Prince of Wales & Climate Change Action

The subject of climate change and proposed human intervention is one that has created deep divisions amongst Australians. Whilst it is not a matter that falls within our mandate, we have nevertheless become enmeshed because of the advocacy of the Prince of Wales in promoting action and the resulting implications this may have to the future of our system of constitutional monarchy.

Members will be well aware that I have expressed concerns over many years to his Royal Highness pointing out that as he is carrying out duties on behalf of the Queen it is incumbent on him not to make any comment on any matter of controversy and that his future subjects would obviously have differing opinions on differing issues all of which he must respect whether he agrees or not.

It is important for us, the Australian Monarchist League to be aware of the opinions of our support base on this issue and we would therefore very much appreciate your answering a couple of questions in any, sort of, survey. This will help us plan a pathway through this difficult time.

Do you agree with the Morrison government’s position of net zero emissions by 2050?

Q: Finally, can you briefly explain in one paragraph why you agree or disagree with the Prince of Wales on the matter of climate change?
A: i don’t believe there is sufficient reliable scientific evidence to suggest that mankind can have any significant effect on what is a natural occurrence, except to employ more bureaucrats and public “servants”

Q: Finally, can you briefly explain in one paragraph why you agree or disagree with the Prince of Wales on the matter of climate change?
A: While I agree with the Prince I am very uncomfortable and unhappy with the nature of his participation in discussion on the matter. It is a politically charged issue and the nature of his frequent engagement in discourse around it is highly irregular and damaging to the monarchy.

A: Prince Charles has been an active leader on environmental issues for decades now so his recent support for climate action should come as no surprise. He has a track record for being knowledgeable, perceptive, and vocal on these and other issues which I fully support.

Q: Finally, can you briefly explain in one paragraph why you agree or disagree with the Prince of Wales on the matter of climate change?
A: The Parliament is the place where ideas and policies are formed and voted upon as to whether or not they are implemented on behalf of the people as our laws. The Constitution provides the rules by which this process proceeds in an orderly way and over arching all of this, is the politically neutral Crown, reserved for placing its Royal seal of approval on only those democratically decided issues made by the Parliament. Any attempt by the Crown to intervene in any way with that process would be tantamount to Royal meddling, something we have never seen by the current incumbent of that high office.

Q: Finally, can you briefly explain in one paragraph why you agree or disagree with the Prince of Wales on the matter of climate change?
A: The climate has changed for billions of years & humans emit only 3% of the TRACE gas CO2 -the rest is from natural sources. The idea that humans can change the climate is the worst fraud ever perpetrated. Our huge nuclear reactor in the Sky, one million miles in diameter, controls everything about our climate. High solar activity – sunspots and solar flares – produce warm periods and low solar activity produces cold periods. Towards the middle to end of the 2020’s Earth will enter a grand solar minimum, i.e. years of cold, extensive snow and ice cover. Prince Charles has been captured by the rapacious fear-mongers who are making billions from the monstrous fraud. He is their gullible puppet mouthpiece.
