Happy Birthday Prince George
Happy Birthday Prince George
It seems only yesterday the announcement of his birth was televised across the globe, but the British royal family’s “jolliest” and “best dressed” member, the young Prince George of Cambridge, is turning seven years old today (22nd July).
The third in line for the British throne, behind his father, Prince William of Cambridge, and his grandfather, Charles, George was welcomed in his first royal tour of Australia by then Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove. The Cambridges spent three weeks visiting Australia and New Zealand, however, George’s important meetings didn’t stop there.
In 2016 he also met with former U.S. President Barack Obama, famously, in his bathrobe. Jokingly described by Obama as “a clear breach of protocol”, the encounter set the young prince up as one of the most popular and much-loved figures of the Royal family.
Prince George currently attends Thomas’s Battersea School, and is now a big brother to sister Princess Charlotte, and younger brother Prince Louis.
The portraits of the Cambridges, recently released the world over for Father’s Day in the United Kingdom and taken by the Duchess herself, portray the family full of warmth, happy smiles, and cheer.
The Royal Family plays such an integral social role throughout so many communities, nations, and organisations, we are delighted to wish young Prince George a very happy and very fun, seventh birthday.
