The Australian Monarchist League wrote to you on the 26th of October 2021 in regard to the upcoming Platinum Jubilee celebrating Her Majesty’s 70 years on the Throne. To date, I understand that there has been no reply or acknowledgement.
The letter which was accompanied by over 1000 signatures formally requested that the Australian government does everything it reasonably can to honour the Queen on the occasion of her Platinum Jubilee.
For more than half of Australia’s existence as an independent and sovereign nation, Queen Elizabeth has been the sovereign head of state of Australia and is the person to whom you and the entire federal parliament have sworn or affirmed to owe faithful and true allegiance.
We would therefore appreciate your taking our request seriously particularly since this may be the last time in Her Majesty's life that Australians are able to pay tribute to the Queen for her unwavering service to our country.

Every council in Australia should congratulate Her Majesty The Queen, on the occasion of her Platinum Jubilee, and organise Platinum Jubilee celebrations/ceremonies in their local communities.
Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee is of the highest importance for all the Australian people!
