Our guest speaker on this occasion will be Mrs Bev McArthur MP from Victoria. 

 

Mrs Bev McArthur MP is Western Victorian ‘Through and Through’.

She was born in Terang and has lived on the McArthur family beef farm near Camperdown for the past 35 years with her husband Stewart. Her three children attended local schools in Bookaar, Noorat, Warrnambool and Geelong before their tertiary education in Melbourne, the USA and France.

Elected to the Corangamite Shire in 2016, Bev was elected to the Legislative Council in November 2018, representing the Liberal Party for the Western Victoria Region. She delivered her Maiden Speech on the 19th of December 2018.

She is the Deputy Chair of the Electoral Matters Committee and sits on the Scrutiny of Acts and Regulations Committee, the Economy and Infrastructure Committee and is also a participating member on the Environment and Planning Committee for the Inquiry into Nuclear Prohibition.

Bev is a member of the Australian Monarchist League
