HRH The Princess of Wales has issued a video statement on Instagram thanking all those who had sent messages of support and explaining that, during her successful abdominal surgery, cancer was diagnosed and she is now undergoing The Princess of Wales

The Australian Monarchist League has posted the following message online: “Our hearts go out to The Princess of Wales on hearing the news that she is undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer."

The League has invited its members and supporters to sign a card to Her Royal Highness sending sincere wishes for a speedy recovery and for strength and perseverance as she undergoes her treatment." The card also mentions that: "Our thoughts and prayers are also with the Prince of Wales and the children at this time.”
