For some 30 years now the Australian Monarchist League has always been an activist organisation in that we stand up and oppose that which we believe is wrong.
An ideal example is the atrocious ABC programme which was purposefully broadcast to attack the monarchy at the time of the Coronation of King Charles III. They would never have dared to do that for the Queen and we must make sure they will never dare again to do that as far as the King is concerned.
The Australian Monarchist League is intent on making sure this abuse of authority does not occur again. Our continued ABC Campaign will cost several thousands of dollars as we reach out to the broader community seeking support for our petition. It will be time-consuming and expensive, but it is something we must do to block this attack on our democracy from within.
