Senator the Hon. Eric Abetz will be inaugurating the first fund-raising dinner of the Australian Monarchist League on Thursday the 17th of March 2022 in Sydney’s CBD commencing at 6:30 pm for a 7 pm sit down.
The privately catered silver-service dinners with superior wines will be held every few months to raise funds to assist the League in flying the flag and promoting and defending Australia’s system of constitutional monarchy.
The cost will be $550 per ticket limited to only 14 seats around the table which will allow a one-on-one discussion with the VIP and other guests.
It is appreciated that the cost would be far above the budget of most members, but not all and it is hoped that those who are able to afford the ticket price will join in and thus help raise desperately needed funds.
Regrettably, the Australian Tax Office will not allow tax deductibility for the League. The same applies to the Australian Republic Movement which continues to receive large donations in spite of them not being able to be claimed against tax.
