The duplicity of the Albanese government is now clear for all to see.  Documents obtained under Freedom of information clearly reveal that the decision not to put King Charles on the $5 note was made by the Treasurer, Jim Chalmers MP with the connivance of the government and not by the Reserve Bank the original recipient of the blame.

This is clearly a part of the government’s plans to bring on republicanism by stealth before the people have had their say.  This is clearly why the government have avoided making any plans for widespread celebrations of the Coronation.  This is why there are no portraits of the King and why there are virtually no souvenirs around.  The plain, simple truth is that the government does not want to celebrate the Coronation although the prime minister is swanning around London as though he is the King's liege man!

With the Constitution not only under attack but likely to be completely destroyed if this government has its way, we are raising funds, including a recent auction of valuable memorabilia from our collection, to help us to build sufficient resources to oppose the government’s plans.  We are tremendously grateful to those who have contributed in recent months but there are many who have not yet supported us in this manner.  Even $5 makes a difference.  Every cent contributed is receipted and accounted for.
