The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have thanked frontline workers on Canada Day

This Canada Day The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have thanked frontline workers across the country for their efforts in helping to protect and support their communities.

The frontline workers discussed how treating patients with Covid19 has been really challenging because it's been difficult to deliver family centred care.

They have become innovative in helping patients remain connected with family. Even just something simple like holding the phone so a patient can facetime his wife, can go a long way in improving the emotional state of the patient and even the frontline staff.

With social distancing protocol, staff haven't been able to connect and recharge with family as they typically would, and so the 'work family' has become vitally important in managing the emotional state. The have come together and supported each other since February this year.

It is evident that Canada has great staff in their healthcare system, and it is admirable that the future King of Canada is taking a personal interest.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are admirable members of the Royal Family, and should be inspiration to all world leaders.
