Tarquin Nesbitt-Foster

Tarquin is a solicitor with experience in administrative law, commercial dispute resolution, environmental litigation and prosecution, and native title. Although only joining the AML in 2019, Tarquin has had faith in present constitutional arrangements for far longer, since his time as a student at the Royal Australian Air Force's Officers Training School. Now further reading laws as a postgraduate, he has produced a comparative study of the exercise of the Crown's power as the fountain of honour in the constitutional arrangements of Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Tarquin volunteers his time pro bono publico at his local community legal service, and sits on the Queensland International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Advisory Committee as the present co-Convenor of the IHL Community Speakers Network (Qld).

ABC Refuses to Broadcast Queen's Message

WE WON - THE ABC AIRED THE BROADCAST JUST PRIOR TO THEIR 7 PM NEWS ON MONDAY 6 APRIL.
There is therefore no need to sign the petition, although, if you are new to the Australian Monarchist League, please consider signing up to receive our updates.

The Queen's Message can be viewed here.

Other than at Christmas, the Queen has made few televised addresses but she is to make an address to the Commonwealth tomorrow, Sunday 5 April 2020.

However, our understanding is that the ABC is purposefully not broadcasting the message. We call on all monarchists to sign this online petition calling on the public broadcaster to air the message from the Queen of Australia to her people.

I call on the Australian Broadcasting Authority to broadcast the message from the Queen which is to be released on Sunday 5 April, 2020.
