A: Yes
USA joining the Commonwealth. What do you think?
There are reports in the international media that plans are 'being discussed at the highest levels' of British government that the United States become an 'associate member' of the Commonwealth of Nations, earlier known as the British Commonwealth. It is expected that this will be a major topic of discussion during President Trump's upcoming state visit to the United Kingdom.
For the USA to join the Commonwealth is a huge step and could lead to the creation of a new economic force against the expansionist plans of Russia and China, something that has never before been envisaged as a role of the Commonwealth which, unlike the United Nations, does not have a military wing.
Whilst, at this stage, the matter does not directly affect the Australian Constitution, it could well have an impact in the future.
It would therefore be appreciated if you could indicate whether or not you agree.
Thank you -

To vote YES in the referendum is to provide preferential powers to one group of Australians over all others – this is racist, and we want to enshrine it in our constitution – I don’t think so. Anyone born in Australia or is granted citizenship is Australian, so why preference one minority over all others? Perhaps we should promote a ‘Voice’ for each of the other minorities – I don’t think so again.
We are Australian AND we are ONE. Let’s keep it that way. -
