Because like the Queen the Governor General has very little power to interfere with our Parliament,

and it has worked both here, and in the UK.  It also provides bonds between countries with similar

ideas of freedom and free speech.  To change our constitution now, with our new agreements with the UK would be a bad move.  God save the Queen.

    We need a review of the funds and role the Australian public give to the ABC.
    At the moment the ABC is run like a private company, not a public one. It uses public funds from the whole Australian community, so it should reflect this, by presenting impartial views.

    I have been waiting for some time for the Liberal party to dump the extreme left of their party. Or if this is not possible, for the right to leave, and form a conservative party with the Nationals. It would seem to us rusted on Liberal voters that the party has moved to far to the left. We should have Nuclear power by now, and more money being spent on defence.

    God save our Queen. WHAT HAPPENED TO FREE SPEECH. If the ABC is unwilling to listen to the Queen maybe we should do away with the ABC

    ABC Refuses to Broadcast Queen's Message

    WE WON - THE ABC AIRED THE BROADCAST JUST PRIOR TO THEIR 7 PM NEWS ON MONDAY 6 APRIL.
    There is therefore no need to sign the petition, although, if you are new to the Australian Monarchist League, please consider signing up to receive our updates.

    Other than at Christmas, the Queen has made few televised addresses but she is to make an address to the Commonwealth tomorrow, Sunday 5 April 2020.

    However,our understanding is that the ABC is purposefully not broadcasting the message. We call on all monarchists to sign this online petition calling on the public broadcaster to air the message from the Queen of Australia to her people.

    I call on the Australian Broadcasting Authority to broadcast the message from the Queen which is to be released on Sunday 5 April, 2020.
