The Constitutional Alliance to defeat Republic"

With just a few months to go to the Referendum Campaign, the Australian Monarchist League has sponsored the formation of a National Alliance of all organisations and groups supportive of the Constitution.

Our sole criterion is to retain the Crown in our Constitution and we are prepared to devote our total resources to the success of the Alliance as we firmly believe that this is the only way in which we will defeat the Republic.

The pre-inaugural meeting of the Alliance was held on the 10th June 1998 and was attended by 38 delegates and observers from a large number of organisations under the chairmanship of the Hon. James Samios MBE MLC, Shadow Minister for Ethnic Affairs and a very good friend to the League.

The Alliance is now an incorporated body and we are preparing to establish office and computerised facilities in preparation for the manning of all 7,500 polling booths throughout Australia to ensure that VOTE NO cards are available to ALL voters.
