TO ALL THOSE WHO SEEK

TO RETAIN OUR CONSTITUTION

 

With just a few days to go to the Constitutional Referendum

on the 6th November 1999, we entreat you to actively support us

for the time has now come for all those

who wish to retain our Constitution to 'Stand up and be counted'.

We appreciate that there are many who question the effect of

our Constitution on our politicians who already

are taking maximum advantage of the powers

our system of Government entrusts them with.

Our Constitution was drafted at a time

when all politicians were honourable people.

Imagine what the politician of today will do

should Australia become a Republic

with all the checks and balances of the Crown removed?

Information on our organisation and on our activities is enclosed.

We are a totally voluntary and somewhat impecunious group

of ordinary people endeavouring to save what is left of our democracy.

Please help us. Tomorrow may be too late.
